Electricity Sector Capacity Strengthening
Increased Access to Electricity Services
(1) Access:
(a) 25,438 households connected to national electricity,
(b)179 schools, 29 health centers and 25 sector and cells administration offices with access to electricity in the project area, by
(i) constructing 464Km of MV distribution lines and
(ii) 710 Km of LV network.
(2) Quality:
Sustained reliability of electricity supply existing and new consumers by:
The project will extend the national grid by 221.4 km of MV lines and 393.15 km of LV lines. A total of 18761 new connections will be made in Burera and Nyagatare Districts
