As Rwanda continues the 100 days of remembrance for the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, the Rwanda Energy Group (REG) and the Water & Sanitation Corporation (WASAC) will hold a commemoration on April 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the REG Headquarters in the City Centre. 

The event is part of the Kwibuka31 national commemoration activities and will honor the memory of the 173 former ELECTROGAZ employees who were killed during the 1994 genocide against Tutsi.

This important event is a time to reflect on the past, to remember the lives lost, and to stand in solidarity with survivors and their families. It also serves as a reminder of the resilience of the Rwandan people and their ongoing journey toward healing and unity.

REG and WASAC extend a heartfelt invitation to the families of the victims, genocide survivors, former colleagues, and members of the public to join in the commemoration. Together, we remember, unite, and renew our commitment to building a peaceful country.
