On Sunday 26th of November 2017, Rwanda Energy Group (REB) Basketball club was crowned champion after winning the pre-season 2017 tournament.

REG Basketball Club (REG BBC) sealed the title after beating IPRC-Kigali 76-71 at Amahoro Indoor Stadium.

IPRC-Kigali started the game in high spirits and took the first quarter 20-16, however; REG took control in the second and fourth quarters hence wrapping up the game 76-71.

“I was surprised by IPRC team, no one was expecting the game to be this challenging. I am very happy we won this tournament”. Said Mr. Kalima Cyrile, the captain of REG BBC.
