This Wednesday 13th March 2024, REG Senior Managers mainly women, visited University of Rwanda, School of Science and Technology and met female students pursuing engineering studies.

A panel composed of REG senior women engineers discussed about different opportunities available in Energy Sector, specifically at Rwanda Energy Group (REG) and also discussed available opportunities that await women graduates in engineering.

REG Women Managers shared different experiences in their professional journey and urged female students that filled the big hall to join energy sector after graduating.

It was a fruitful day of interactions for both students and REG professional women. The event, which was started by giving rose flowers and sharing soft drinks was in line with a series of events organized by REG to celebrate the International Women’s Day, which is usually celebrated on 8^th March.

Rwanda Energy Group has put in place different affirmative actions aimed at increasing the ratio of female to male in all positions on the structure.
