RE: ANNOUNCEMENT TO ALL OUR CONTRACTORS AND BIDDERS

The Management of Rwanda Energy Group Limited (REG) informs all contractors and bidders of REG and its subsidiaries Energy Development Corporation Limited (EDCL) and Energy Utility Corporation Limited (EUCL) that any tentative to corrupt our staff is strongly prohibited and punishable by the law.

Any payments to be made by a bidder must be indicated in the tender documents on REG/EDCL/EUCL accounts. Any contracting company or individual who will be caught, trying to corrupt a REG/EDCL/EUCL official, will be blacklisted and reported to the prosecution.

We encourage our contractors and bidders to report any corruption behavior observed on our staff by sending an SMS or using Whatsapp to the telephone number +250788310606.

Let’s work together to prevent any form of corruption particularly in the energy sector.
